Payment & Cancellation


Full payment of the registration fees at the time of the registration.

  • Payment by credit card: registration on-line, by phone, by fax, by mail or in person
  • Payment by cheque: registration by mail or in person

If you pay by cheque, make it payable to the Centre for Continuing Education.

Once your registration is completed, you will receive the official confirmation of your registration. 


Cancellation requests can be submitted by e-mail (continue@uOttawa.ca), by phone (613-562-5272) or in person (55 Laurier Avenue East, 12th floor, Ottawa ON K1N 6N5).

Cancellation is possible but certain conditions apply:
  • When participants cancel their registration 7 days or more before the activity begins, registration fees are entirely refundable.
  • When participants cancel their registration less than 7 days before the activity begins, no refund is granted.

Participants who are unable to attend an activity can be replaced by someone else, but they must notify us of this change.

The Centre for Continuing Education reserves the right to:
  • cancel activities due to lack of participants or unforeseen circumstances;
  • replace its speakers due to unforeseen circumstances;
  • change its cancellation policy and its registration fees without notice.
